Messages are strictly informational and relate only to the consumer's rewards account with the merchant where enrollment occurred. Messages may include rewards points earned, updated rewards balance, or other account-related rewards activity. This campaign does not include promotional, sales, advertising, or marketing content and is limited to balance updates only.
Consumers enroll at a participating merchant's point-of-sale. A clear written SMS disclosure is presented on a forward-facing screen visible to the consumer. The disclosure states that account-related rewards balance notifications will be sent by Acadia Local Rewards regarding the consumer's rewards account with that specific merchant. The consumer must actively select Confirm to proceed. If Decline is selected, no enrollment occurs and no message is sent.
After the mobile number is submitted, the consumer receives a confirmation message from Acadia Local Rewards and must reply YES to confirm consent. No additional messages are sent unless the YES confirmation is received and recorded. Consent records are retained.
Each opt-in is merchant-specific and applies only to the merchant where enrollment occurred. Mobile numbers are provided directly by the consumer at the time of enrollment and are not shared, sold, transferred, or used across other merchants or third parties.
This campaign does not involve lead generation, affiliate marketing, list sharing, third-party advertising, or independent marketing by Acadia Local Rewards.
Message frequency varies based on rewards account activity. All messages include instructions to reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
